Dr Sherriff is a Senior Research Fellow in the International Health Development Research Centre (IHDRC) at the University of Brighton, and also undertakes a number of consultancy research projects. He is a Chartered Psychologist and Chartered Scientist, and has a broad range of research interests mainly in health promotion and public health. He currently is involved in (and manages) a number of multi-partner European, International, and local health promotion/public health projects.

Dr Sherriff specialises in undertaking short-term, quick response consultation and research ventures covering a wide range of health and well-being studies.
